David Joshua Schröder studied sociology in Göttingen and Berlin and wrote his doctoral thesis on the changing working conditions in urban infrastructure control centres as he was part of the Collaborative Research Centre 1265 on the 'Refiguration of Spaces'. He is now interested in spatial gatherings that aim to address social crises and challenges by bringing together people from different backgrounds.
